Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 3 pounds chicken wings
- 3 tablespoons char siu marinade powder
- 1 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 tablespoons chicken bouillon
- 1 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoons cooking wine
- 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger grate or powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon black soy sauce
Instructions
- 1
In a large bowl, combine char siu powder, sugar, fish sauce, light soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic powder, grated or powder ginger, and lemon juice.
- 2
Place the chicken wings in the bowl with the marinade, ensuring each wing is thoroughly coated. Allow the wings to marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably, overnight in the refrigerator for richer flavors.
- 3
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- 4
Arrange the marinated wings in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd. Cook for 25-35 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through the cooking time. Adjust the time as needed, ensuring the wings are burgundy-brown and cooked through.
- 5
Serve the air-fried cha siu chicken wings hot as a delicious appetizer or main dish with rice.
