- 1 cup orange juice (freshly squeeze )
- 1/3 cup vodka (for example: Smirnoff vodka)
- 1 1/2 ice
- sugar (to taste, optional)

Squeeze the juice from the fresh orange and discard the pulp.

In a pitcher, combine the orange juice, vodka, and ice. Stir to mix well, then pour into cocktail glasses and serve cold.
