Vietnamese Bánh Mì Sandwich
A Vietnamese banh mi sandwich is a fluffy baguette laden with chicken, pork, pickled veggies, herbs, and chiles. Savory, rich, and delicious!

Ingredients

- 4 crusty long bread rolls ((See Note 1))
- 8 tbsp pork and or chicken pate ((See Note 2))
- 8 tbsp Vietnamese Mayo Butter for Bánh Mì (or regular mayonnaise (See Note 3))
- 16 slice roast or grilled pork ((See Note 4))
- 16 slice roast or grilled chicken
- 4 tsp Maggi Seasoning ((See Note 5))
- Vietnamese Pickled Carrots and Daikon
- 2 cucumbers (finely sliced lengthwise into long strips)
- 1 Anaheim green chile (seeded and finely sliced)
- 1 large jalapeno (thinly sliced into rings)
- 1 cup fresh cilantro sprigs

Slice each bread roll horizontally. On one half spread 2 tablespoons of the paté, and spread 2 tablespoons of the Vietnamese Mayo Butter on the other.

Load the mayo side with 4 slices of the roast pork and 4 slices of the roast chicken. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of the Maggi seasoning over meat and top with a good amount of the pickled carrots and daikon. Spread all evenly across the bread.

Add several pieces of each cucumber slices, green chile pieces and some jalapeno rings.

On the other half with the paté add the cilantro and press the sandwich together and enjoy.
