Ingredients

- 1 pound fresh strawberries, plus more for garnish (rinsed, stems removed and sliced into quarters)
- 1 lime, juiced
- ¾ cup Simple syrup or more according to taste
- Ice for serving

Classic Strawberry Agua Fresca

Rinse the strawberries, remove the green tops and cut into quarters.

Add the strawberries with 2 cups water. Puree until you reach a smoothie consistency. About 2 minutes.

Transfer the pureed strawberries to a large jar and add the rest lime juice and simple syrup.

Refrigerate for at least one hour.

Slice 4 ounces of the strawberries into small cubes and set aside in the refrigerator for garnishing
