Beef Curry with Potatoes

Ingredients

- 500 g Beef (cubed)
- 300 g Potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)
- 2 Onions (finely chopped)
- 3 Garlic Cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp Ginger (grated)
- 400 g Canned Tomatoes (chopped)
- 100 ml Water
- 50 ml Oil
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Chilli Powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp Salt (adjust to taste)
- Coriander (chopped for garnish)

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onions and sauté for 5–6 minutes until golden brown.

Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add turmeric, coriander, cumin, and red chilli powder, stirring well.

Add the beef cubes and sear until browned on all sides.

Pour in the chopped tomatoes and water, cover and simmer for 40 minutes.

Add the potato chunks and cook for another 20 minutes until tender.

Sprinkle garam masala over the curry and stir gently.
