Ingredients

Quantities are shown as originally provided.

  • 3 cup Water - 3 cup
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste/ Grated (Feel free to use more or less freshly grated ginger to your liking.)
  • 10 Mint leaves (lightly crushed with hands)
  • 1 Slice Lemon
  • 2 teaspoon Honey

Instructions

    Take a small boiling pot. Add water, ginger and mint leaves.** Before adding mint leaves to the pot, lightly bruise them with your fingers or the back of a spoon. This releases the essential oils and enhances the flavour.

    Bring it to a boil for about 3-5 minutes.

    Reduce the heat to a gentle simmer, stir in the honey until it dissolves.

    Remove from heat. Strain the tea into a teapot or directly into cups. Serve with a slice of lemon in each cup.
